Bought a house three years ago and for the last three years I’ve been using my Hunter ICC wrong! Tried a dozen times to figure out why it wouldn’t turn off after a complete evolution through 17 stations. Thanks to your video, I now understand why. I had set a time for each of the 17 stations, when I only needed to set the first station run time. Thanks for setting me straight!

Thanks for posting this. I have 7 shrub sprayers installed by the previous owners of my house and was wondering if you can adjust the angle without loosing a lot of water between the threads. Sounds like teflon tape is the only option to tighten up the connection. Would be cool to see a company make a riser that can swivel and still be water tight.

Hi John. You can turn the screw clockwise to lessen the flow / pressure and counter to increase. Sometimes you have to change out the nozzle depending on what you are looking for. You can grab some different sizes and flow rates at your local hardware store. Hope this helps!

One of our spray heads atomizes or mists water really nice would we tighten up our other heads to achieve that effect?

BEFORE YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS YOU CAN ONLY ADJUST THE ARC WITH THE HEAD OF THE ROTOR EXTENDED OUT. Simply, adjust the arc with the WATER ON to allow the rotor to extend up to make the adjustment by rotating the turet all the way to the right and then insert the tool into the opening to seat it and rotate it to the plus side or the minus side. Get your instructions in order Hunter and don't leave out the first step to allow all the other steps to follow. Get it? . It is like going for a test ride in a new car with no gas in the tank. Shame on you.

I'm not liking having to use this icc. On the "used" for a station. Is this only relating to program D? It seems I get "used" even when I check and this station doesn't have run time in any other program. Why wouldn't a controller let you run a station on multiple programs. It at least it should say used in prog abc or d. I change a program to water 1 minute per zone for va test. When I run the test some zones run longer than 1 minute. Like 4 or 5. Then when I look at this program later it has some stations on 21 minutes. It like it is remembering an old program. There isn't a 9v battery in. I will add a battery and keep messing with it. It maybe a bad controller. I see they have upgrade kits to icc2 for 165$. Saying is has better voltage protection. Like they know it's a crappy controller. We will be going with a wifi like rainbird as soon as I figure out the wiring troubles with the 31 valves in 4 boxes. It appears there have some ground wires cut and 2 or 3 prior attempts to fix this system. Including a battery controller, and then maybe a new wire run with a separate 8 station controller. Most likely some stations are hooked up to both controllers.

You said in order to adjust right stop, rotate the whole head but it looked like you only rotated the pop up riser.

Excellent video Justin. Thank you for posting. Quick question ? Using the same sprinkler headas an example, mine stopped rotating but is spraying great. I can manually rotate it, but it won't rotate automatically. Any suggestions ?

Why station 3 to said USED? I have the same on station for which is for my front lawn. When it gets to station 4 it just stops I don't know how to take the word ESED? Anybody knows?

Really good explanation. I wasn't aware that one can adjust the right arc by turning the whole turet - very useful and I wonder why this isn't described in the manual. Thanks for the video, old one but still useful :)

My system has 16 stations but only can be programmed up to 8 stations. Already went manual and got 15 minutes each one but when trying to adjust the time it only give me up to 8 and jumps back to 1 again, why can't go 9 to 16 ?

I thought I had everything set correctly and I set it in the same method that you did but came home one afternoon and the front sprinklers were running. When I looked at the controller it said it was running zone 19. I am confused. I do not like the system! I would love to get rid of it. Or find out how to turn off those extra zones.

I needed your video to figure out that the bow tie shaped end of the adjuster tool is NOT the end to insert through the hole with the bow tie out line. Nay nay, the bow tie tool goes through the circle, the Allen key goes through the bow tie. What is manufacturers logic behind the markings? Anyhow, I can now adjust the azimuth just as the presenter has shown. However, the Allen key is not finding anything at bottom of hole to engage. How common is it for a range adjustment screw to be missing or incompletely formed? My new head continues to shoot at max range until I can find out how to get Allen key engaged or I dig this new head out of the ground and try a different brand.
